CM Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti Discusses Budget, Public Welfare Projects, and Inter-Party Harmony with PPP Members

Quetta:Balochistan Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, held an important meeting with provincial ministers and members of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). The meeting, which also included Deputy Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Ms. Ghazala Gola, focused on a range of topics, including the upcoming fiscal year’s budget, public welfare projects, parliamentary matters, and the promotion of inter-party harmony.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Bugti briefed the attendees on the government’s development goals, governance, health, law and order, and service delivery measures. He emphasized that the current government’s priority is not just budget formulation but also practical service to the people. “We will ensure that development projects do not remain mere promises on paper, but will be visibly implemented,” he said.
The PPP members praised the government’s performance, particularly applauding the launch of the “People’s Train Service,” which they described as a revolutionary step. CM Bugti responded positively, expressing that restoring public trust and improving service delivery remains the government’s foremost priority.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti also highlighted that for the first time in history, over 90% of the PSDP (Public Sector Development Program) funds had been utilized, attributing this achievement to good governance and timely decision-making.
The Chief Minister assured that the budget preparation process is being carried out in consultation with all parliamentary parties to ensure representation and participation from all sectors of society. He also acknowledged the political vision of former President Asif Ali Zardari, praising his leadership for steering the country towards political stability. Furthermore, he lauded PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s youthful and visionary leadership, which is becoming a symbol of progress, democracy, and national unity.
In closing, CM Bugti stressed the need for political consensus and inter-party cooperation to lay the foundation for a bright future for Balochistan, stating that collaboration across party lines is essential for the province’s prosperity.
