Electricity a Fundamental Right, Will End Crisis Soon: Nawabzada Mir Jamal Khan Raisani

Quetta: Nawabzada Mir Jamal Khan Raisani, senior leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party and National Assembly member, has vowed to resolve the electricity crisis affecting multiple areas in Balochistan, including Kali Chiltan, Raisani, Hazar Ganji, Kali Khazan, Mian Ghundi, Zahri Town, Goharabad, and Akhtarabad. He emphasized that electricity is a basic right of the people and promised swift relief from ongoing power shortages.

Speaking during a meeting at Sarwan House with former District Information Secretary of Quetta Jamaat, Amir Najm Madaris Unit Maulana Muhammad Tahir Touhidi, and General Secretary Dr. Zafarullah Jatak, Raisani expressed commitment to addressing public grievances with the support of political and social figures.

Maulana Touhidi briefed him on the electricity shortage affecting over 11,000 households, 300 mosques, and more than 200 religious schools, educational institutions, and madaris. He also presented a written report on challenges faced by the Forest Department.

Raisani immediately contacted senior officials of the Forest Department, directing them to resolve the issues, while stressing that no bureaucratic obstacle would be tolerated in addressing the public’s problems. He pledged that he would spare no effort or sacrifice in ensuring solutions to the people’s issues.
