Balochistan CM Mir Sarfraz Bugti Chairs Consultative Meeting on Upcoming Budget

Quetta:A consultative meeting regarding the formulation of Balochistan’s budget for the upcoming fiscal year was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Tuesday at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. The meeting was attended by parliamentary leaders and members of the allied political parties of the provincial government.

In his address, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that the upcoming budget would prioritize public welfare through social welfare schemes. He emphasized that available resources would be used effectively for public-oriented projects to open new avenues for development in the province. He assured the members that 100% allocation of funds for the proposed projects would be ensured, to guarantee the proper utilization of financial resources and meet the developmental needs of the people.

“The budget will not only focus on providing basic amenities but will also pay significant attention to development projects in line with the government’s priorities,” he remarked. Bugti stressed that the government is committed to the efficient utilization of funds and the fulfillment of the public’s developmental requirements.

The meeting saw participants agreeing on the need for a focused approach in the upcoming budget under the leadership of the Chief Minister. Several recommendations were made to ensure the betterment of public service. Notable figures in attendance included Nawabzada Mir Tariq Khan Magsi, Mir Shoaib Noshiwani, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Baledi, Mir Saleem Ahmed Khoso, Mir Sadiq Umarani, Bakhth Mohammad Kakor, Engineer Zamark Khan Achakzai, Mir Abdul Majid Badini, and Haji Ali Madad Jatk.

The discussions underscored the importance of inclusive and transparent budgeting that aims to benefit the people of Balochistan, setting the stage for future growth and development across the province.
