PM Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir Perform Umrah, Offer Prayers at the Holy Kaaba

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, along with a delegation, performed Umrah and offered prayers at the Holy Kaaba, expressing gratitude to Allah for the victory of Baniyyan Mursus.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the visit to Saudi Arabia was at the special invitation of Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman. During their visit, which took place between Thursday and Friday night, the Prime Minister and Army Chief, accompanied by the delegation, performed Umrah and prayed for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
The statement also highlighted that the Pakistani delegation was given special access to the Kaaba, where they offered Nawafils and thanked Allah for the recent successes in the fields of Pakistan’s economy and public welfare. They also prayed for the well-being of the Muslim Ummah, particularly the oppressed Kashmiri and Palestinian brothers and sisters.
The delegation included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, and Information Minister Ataullah Tarar. The leaders also expressed their gratitude for the recent economic achievements of Pakistan while praying for the continued prosperity of the nation.
