Quetta:Speaking at the historic gathering commemorating the funeral of Ghilzai Manzoor Wazir in North Waziristan, Chairman of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Khushhal Khan Kakar, highlighted Wazir’s significant contributions to the Pashtun Afghan nation. Kakar praised Wazir for his unwavering commitment to national rights, democratic movements, and his revolutionary poetry, which earned him respect and popularity across Afghanistan.
He described Wazir as deeply passionate about his beloved homeland and Afghan nation, achieving prominence through his scholarly knowledge, creative abilities, and commitment to the national struggle. Kakar emphasized that Wazir transformed his exemplary poetry into practical activism, becoming a leader and organizer in the field of political struggle.
Despite facing colonial oppression and enduring severe torture and imprisonment in pursuit of national and revolutionary goals, Wazir remained steadfast in his quest for national freedom, peace, and justice. Kakar likened Wazir’s life and sacrifices to those of other national heroes, stating that Wazir’s historical role and elevated national stature remain unparalleled.
Kakar asserted that despite efforts by colonial forces to suppress the Pashtun national movement through countless sacrifices, they could not silence it. He vowed that the Pashtun national political parties would unite on national agendas and presented heartfelt tributes to Ghilzai Manzoor Wazir for his historical role.
