Indian Government Increases Security for Key Leaders After Failure of ‘Operation Sundoor

New Delhi:Following the failure of India’s “Operation Sundoor” against Pakistan, the Indian government is facing immense pressure and public outrage. According to Indian media reports, in response to security concerns and public backlash, the government has decided to increase security for several prominent ministers and politicians.

As per *The Indian Express*, Delhi Police have decided to enhance the security of key leaders, including Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Secretary of External Affairs Vikram Misri, and 25 prominent members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The BJP ministers whose security has been escalated include J.P. Nadda, Bhupendra Yadav, Nishikant Dubey, and Sudhanshu Trivedi.

Reports suggest that security personnel assigned to these leaders will undergo specialized training in firearms handling and emergency medical assistance. Additionally, a special meeting was convened by Delhi Police, where BJP leadership was briefed on potential security threats they face.

Defense analysts believe that the war-mongering attitude and irresponsible policies of the Modi government have not only destabilized the region but have also put the lives of Indian leadership at risk. According to experts, the failure of “Operation Sundoor” has severely damaged the government’s credibility, leading the ruling BJP to take urgent steps to protect its leaders from public fury.

Analysts indicate that the situation is a clear sign of growing internal pressure and public unease in India. They assert that, rather than relying on rhetoric against Pakistan, Indian leadership should adopt a serious approach towards ensuring peace in the region.
