Balochistan Minister Orders Release of Women Arrested During Protest
Quetta:In a move reflecting Balochistan’s tribal traditions, the provincial Minister of Interior has ordered the release of five women arrested during a protest. The directive, issued on the orders of the Chief Minister of Balochistan, aims to uphold respect and honor for women in the region. The Minister emphasized that while crime is crime, whether committed by men or women, releasing the women sends a positive message aligning with local tribal customs. He urged women to maintain dignity during protests, ensuring their honor remains intact and that law enforcement’s dignity is upheld.
