Three Arrested in Sargodha for Allegedly Attempting to Bury Boy Alive

Sargodha: Police have arrested three suspects accused of abducting, assaulting, and attempting to bury a boy alive in Sargodha, officials said.

District Police Officer (DPO) Sohaib Ashraf stated that the incident was linked to an alleged sexual assault on the victim. According to the DPO, the victim had allegedly been sexually assaulted by the brother of the arrested suspects around 20 days earlier.

He said the boy reported the alleged assault to the suspect’s brothers. Instead of taking action, they allegedly abducted the victim, subjected him to physical torture, and attempted to bury him alive.

The DPO identified one of the arrested suspects as Qamar, who is accused of sexually assaulting the boy approximately 20 days before the alleged kidnapping and attempted murder.

Police said three suspects have been taken into custody, while further investigation into the case is underway.
