Irfan Siddiqui Accuses Modi of Attempting to Turn Occupied Kashmir into Gaza, Criticizes India’s Treatment of Minorities

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League (N) Senator Irfan Siddiqui has accused Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi of attempting to transform the occupied Kashmir region into another Gaza, following Israel’s policies. In a statement shared on the social media platform X, Siddiqui criticized India for no longer being the world’s largest democracy, but rather becoming the largest killing ground for Muslims and other minorities.
He pointed out that Modi’s government is following Israel’s example by trying to turn the Kashmir Valley into a scenario akin to that of Palestine and Gaza. Siddiqui further warned that India, which has threatened to block Pakistan’s water supply, should be aware that any attempt to obstruct the flow of Pakistan’s rivers would be met with a strong response. He declared that Pakistan would retaliate with force, akin to the response expected in the event of a declaration of war.
This statement comes amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan over the Kashmir dispute, with both nations frequently at odds over territorial and resource-based issues.
