PSL 10: Winning Team to Receive $500,000 Prize, Says PCB

Islamabad: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the prize money for the winning team of the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). According to the PCB, the champions of PSL 10 will be awarded $500,000, which is approximately PKR 145 million.
The runner-up team will receive $200,000, roughly PKR 56 million.
The 10th edition of PSL kicks off today in Rawalpindi with a colorful opening ceremony preceding the first match. Defending champions Islamabad United will face a strong challenge from Lahore Qalandars in the tournament opener.
A total of 34 matches will be played among six teams, with the tournament scheduled to run until May 18. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches, including both eliminators and the grand final.
