Over 800 Accidents on Balochistan’s National Highways in Early April, 13 Dead and Over 1000 Injured

Quetta:In the first week of April, over 800 accidents occurred on Balochistan’s national highways, resulting in the death of 13 individuals and leaving more than 1,000 injured. According to the data released by the Emergency Rescue 1122 Balochistan (MERC), between April 1 and April 7, a total of 809 accidents took place across various national highways in the region.

The highest number of accidents occurred on the N-50 national highway, with 449 accidents reported. The N-25 highway followed with 257 accidents, while the N-80 saw 25 accidents, the N-65 had 29, and the N-70 witnessed 43 accidents. Additionally, 4 accidents took place on the M-8, and 2 accidents occurred on the N-40 highway.

The data highlights the alarming rise in traffic accidents on Balochistan’s national highways, urging authorities to take immediate action to improve road safety and prevent further loss of life.
