Prepare for Rain: Meteorological Department Issues Alert for Several Areas of Pakistan

Islamabad: As the intensity of heat increases across Pakistan, the weather has started to shift. The Meteorological Department has forecasted that a new wave of rain is about to hit most parts of the country, which will bring heavy downpours along with thunderstorms and hail in some areas.
In the next 24 hours, two distinct weather patterns are expected. While most areas of Sindh will remain under intense heat and dry conditions, the regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan will experience cloudy weather.
Rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds is expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Buner, Malakand, Bajaur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Kurram, Khyber, Mohmand, Mardan, and Swabi. Some areas may also experience hailstorms, which could potentially harm crops.
Residents of Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Talagang, and Mianwali will enjoy cooler weather under the clouds, while Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, and Narowal could experience light to heavy rainfall.
In the areas of Zhob, Musa Khel, Barkhan, Qilla Saifullah, and Kalat, the clouds are ready to pour, while strong winds and stormy rains are expected in Khuzdar and surrounding areas. The snow-capped mountains in these regions will continue to see cloud cover, and some areas will experience cool winds along with heavy rainfall.
