Institutional Coordination Vital for Public Relief, Says Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi

Islamabad:Federal Interior Minister **Mohsin Naqvi** emphasized the importance of **institutional synergy and timely data sharing** during a high-level meeting held to improve coordination among subordinate agencies.

Chairing the session, Naqvi said, “All institutions must benefit from each other’s strengths. Timely exchange of data and information is essential, and institutional harmony is key to delivering effective public relief.”

The meeting brought together senior officials from **NADRA**, **FIA**, **Rangers**, **Frontier Corps**, **Passport and Immigration Department**, and **Cybercrime Agency**, among others. Minister of State **Talal Chaudhry**, the Interior Secretary, and other top officials were also present.

A consensus was reached to strengthen **inter-agency collaboration**, especially in areas involving overseas officers, who were urged to support other institutions in their missions abroad. Naqvi also stressed that officers for **training courses** should be selected **strictly on merit**.

He directed all departments to submit their **recommendations promptly**, based on which the Interior Secretary will formulate a **comprehensive plan**. The minister stated that such mutual coordination would significantly improve **public service delivery** and lead to **more effective governance outcomes**.
