Dubai Police Arrest 10 Illegal Street Vendors During Ramadan Campaign

Dubai:Dubai Police have arrested 10 illegal street vendors as part of their “A Conscious Society, Free from Beggars” campaign during Ramadan. According to the police, the arrested individuals were selling food and beverages without licenses at public places, violating health and safety regulations.

The authorities stated that these individuals attracted people by selling food near labor camps, but their products were prepared under unhealthy conditions, posing a risk of spreading diseases. The vendors were reportedly operating without adhering to hygiene standards, which could endanger public health.

Dubai Police have urged the public to avoid purchasing from illegal vendors and report any such activities through the 901 call center or the ‘Police Eye’ service on the police app.

To ensure public safety and health, Dubai Police have increased patrols and surveillance during Ramadan to prevent illegal activities and maintain security.
