Severe Cold Wave Sweeps Through Balochistan and Northern Regions of Pakistan

Quetta: A severe cold wave has gripped Balochistan, causing temperatures to dip once again into negative. The region is experiencing chilly winds, further intensifying the cold weather.
In Quetta, temperatures have dropped to -2°C, while in Kohlu and Musa Khel, residents are confined to their homes due to the harsh cold.
Meanwhile, with the start of the holy month of Ramadan, heavy snowfall has occurred in northern areas, including Hunza, Skardu, Diamer, Lower Dir, Abbottabad, Murree, and Galyat, causing several connecting roads to be blocked.
In Swat, rain is ongoing in the plains, while snowfall continues in the upper areas, including Malam Jabba, Kalam, Utror, and Gabral. The upper regions are experiencing extreme cold due to the continuous snow.
