PTI’s Ali Muhammad Khan, Former Diplomat, and Sindh CM Slam India’s Accusations, Reaffirm Pakistan’s Unity and Resolve

Islamabad:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader **Ali Muhammad Khan** has strongly asserted that the **nation stands united for the defense and protection of Pakistan**, reminding that Indian hostility towards Pakistan is not new. *“India has always had its eyes on our homeland, aiming ultimately to break Pakistan apart. But we are ready to defend it with our lives,”* he said during a discussion on *Express News’ Center Stage*.

Ali Muhammad Khan emphasized that Pakistan should not live in a fantasy. *“We lost half our country once, but we didn’t correct our course. Still, despite our faults, whenever our national security is challenged, the people of Pakistan unite as one.”*

Former Foreign Secretary **Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry** also weighed in, calling India’s recent reaction to a deadly incident in Pahalgam, held Kashmir, a **”false flag operation”**. He said, *“India’s media exploded with accusations against Pakistan even before facts emerged. This knee-jerk propaganda made many suspicious of the incident’s authenticity. India has a history of using such tactics for political mileage.”*

**Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah** echoed similar sentiments, condemning the terrorist attack in Pahalgam but also criticizing **India’s baseless accusations against Pakistan**. *“The entire world condemns terrorism, but India’s government went a step further by blaming Pakistan without evidence. This reckless rhetoric endangers regional peace,”* he stated.

Referring to India’s threats regarding the **Indus Waters Treaty**, Murad Ali Shah said, *“Talking about unilaterally revoking the treaty is beyond comprehension. These are binding international agreements — you can’t just walk away from them.”*

When asked about the recent meeting between Prime Minister **Shehbaz Sharif** and **Bilawal Bhutto Zardari**, Murad Ali Shah explained that **public anxiety in Sindh over new canal projects** led the provincial government to approach the federal authorities. *“We demanded that a Council of Common Interests (CCI) meeting be convened, and I’m glad the federal government responded wisely,”* he concluded.

Together, the voices from across Pakistan’s political and diplomatic spectrum sent a clear message: **Pakistan is united, alert, and committed to defending its sovereignty, while also advocating for peace in the region**.
