FBR Takes Major Action Against Renowned Fashion Designer Naeem Ansari for Sales Tax Fraud

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has taken significant action against famous fashion designer Naeem Ansari, seizing his factory and multiple outlets in Karachi due to alleged sales tax fraud and violations of point-of-sale (POS) regulations.

The Corporate Tax Office (CTO) Karachi, after obtaining search warrants from a magistrate, conducted raids on Ansari’s factory and three key outlets located in Mehran Town, Korangi, and DHA. The DHA outlet was sealed for violating POS regulations. During the raids, the CTO team confiscated all records and began inspecting them to assess the scale of the sales tax fraud.

Sources indicate that after a thorough review, the CTO team will estimate the value of the fraud and proceed with further legal actions.
