KARACHI: Popular Pakistani actress Ayeza Khan has found herself caught in a family controversy after a woman named Arooba Tariq, claiming to be the former fiancée of Ayeza’s brother Ahad, leveled serious allegations against him and the Khan family.
Ayeza Khan has recently been in the spotlight due to her brother Ahad’s wedding festivities, with her glamorous outfits and videos from the celebrations going viral on social media. However, the joyful atmosphere has been overshadowed by Arooba’s claims, which have sparked debate online as screenshots of her posts continue to circulate.
According to Arooba, Ahad had proposed to her and wedding preparations had begun, but the engagement was later called off. She accused him of being deceitful, alleging that he misrepresented his education by claiming to be a business graduate, while in reality he had not even completed his graduation and was financially dependent on his sister, Ayeza Khan.
She further alleged that the family mistreats their domestic staff, that Ayeza dominates family decisions, and that Ahad had previously been linked with actress Sarah Khan. Meanwhile, she praised Ayeza’s husband, Danish Taimoor, calling him a respectable and honorable man uninvolved in the controversy.
