Bollywood’s Trend of Re-releases Continues with ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ Scheduled for April

Mumbai:Bollywood is witnessing a rising trend of re-releasing classic films, and after the success of the Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane’s film *Sanam Teri Qasam*, another iconic comedy is set for a revival. *Andaz Apna Apna*, one of Bollywood’s most beloved comedy films, originally released on November 4, 1994, is scheduled to be re-released in theaters this April.

The film, which stars Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, and Karisma Kapoor in lead roles, has remained a fan favorite over the years. Despite the film’s success, audiences have not seen Aamir Khan and Salman Khan share the screen together since then, although both were seen together on India’s popular reality show *Bigg Boss* when Aamir Khan appeared to promote his film.

Recently, Aamir Khan appeared alongside Salman Khan to promote his son, Junaid Khan’s film *Lovyapa*, which led to excitement among fans. This reunion sparked hopes that the two might reunite for a potential sequel to *Andaz Apna Apna*. While there has been no official confirmation about a sequel, reports from Indian media suggest that this may be a hint towards the possibility of one.

On the work front, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film *Sikandar*, set to hit theaters on March 28, 2025. The film, directed by A.R. Murugadoss, will feature Rashika Mandanna in the female lead role.

Aamir Khan’s last release was *Laal Singh Chaddha* on August 11, 2022, in which he starred alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. Aamir Khan is currently busy shooting for his next film, *Stars on Earth*. Fans are eagerly awaiting both his and Salman Khan’s upcoming projects, especially after their recent reunion on-screen.
