Pakistan and UAE Agree to Increase Flights to Strengthen Bilateral Relations

Abu Dhabi:Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed to enhance air connectivity and further strengthen their longstanding relations by increasing the number of flights between the two countries.

According to Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, the agreement was finalized after discussions with UAE officials this week regarding the introduction of more budget-friendly airline options. The agreement is aimed at facilitating better travel options between the two nations.

As part of this development, Pakistan’s Air Sial will begin flights from three cities to Abu Dhabi, while Wizz Air will initiate flights between Abu Dhabi and two cities in Pakistan.

This agreement comes ahead of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to the UAE in February to participate in the World Government Summit, where discussions on economic cooperation, trade, and employment opportunities are expected to take place.
