Mumbai:Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt recently made a controversial statement about actress Deepika Padukone, revealing that if he were younger, she would have been his fourth wife.
According to Indian media reports, Sanjay Dutt praised Deepika’s beauty and remarked that she could have replaced Madhuri Dixit in his famous film *Khal Nayak* if the iconic song *Choli Ke Peeche* had been shot in today’s era.
Sanjay allegedly said, “Deepika Padukone is very beautiful. If I were a little younger, she would have been my fourth wife.” His comment triggered a strong reaction on social media, with users criticizing him for making such remarks about the popular actress.
One social media user commented on the post saying, “It’s shocking that some people can speak so openly about such matters. If they are this bold publicly, just imagine what their behavior must be like in private.”
Another user said, “Good heavens! This person’s comments send a chill down the spine. Feel sorry for Deepika. Just recently, he was making strange jokes with Kriti on Kapil Sharma’s show too.”
Sanjay Dutt has been married three times in his life. His first marriage was with actress Richa Sharma in 1987, and they had a daughter, Trishala, in 1988. Richa passed away in 1996 due to a brain tumor.
In 1998, Sanjay married model and air hostess Rhea Pillai, but the couple separated a few years later, and their divorce was finalized in 2008. Later that same year, he married his third wife, Manita, and they have 14-year-old twin children (a son and a daughter).
Deepika Padukone, on the other hand, married her longtime partner and actor Ranveer Singh in 2018. The famous Bollywood couple welcomed their first daughter in September last year.
