LAHORE: Pakistani actress and producer Hareem Farooq has responded to the criticism and trolling she faced on social media over the outfits she wore while promoting her upcoming Punjabi film Mango Jatt.

Hareem Farooq has been in the spotlight alongside Faisal Qureshi as the two promote their new film, with her fashion choices during promotional events drawing mixed reactions online.

Speaking in a recent interview with Umair Alvi, the actress said she decided nearly a decade ago that she would no longer let other people’s opinions affect her.

She said critics and social media trolls will always find something to say, making it pointless to waste time worrying about their comments.

Hareem also revealed that she does not read comments on social media and prefers to focus on her work and continue moving forward instead of being distracted by online negativity.
