Punjabi Singer Diljit Dosanjh Announces No Future Concerts in India Due to Infrastructure Issues
Islamabad:Renowned Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh has announced that he will not be performing any future concerts in India, citing inadequate infrastructure for live shows. The announcement was made during a live performance in Chandigarh on Saturday, and the video quickly went viral on social media.
In the viral video, Dosanjh can be heard addressing his fans in Punjabi, saying, “There is no proper infrastructure here for live shows.” He further explained, “Live shows are a major source of revenue and provide employment to many people. Next time, I will try to ensure that the stage is in the middle so that you can all stand around it.”
The singer added, “Until this is fixed, I will not perform in India. This is my final decision.” The fans at the concert erupted in applause, supporting his stance.
During the concert, Dosanjh dedicated the event to Gokesh Domaraju, the youngest Indian to win the Sharnezh Global Chess Championship. He also praised the young prodigy for his achievement.
