PTI Leaders Murad Saeed, Aslam Iqbal, and Hamad Azhar Declared Proclaimed Offenders in Container Burning Case
Lahore: In a significant development, the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Lahore has declared eight senior leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as proclaimed offenders in the case related to the burning of containers on May 9 at Kalma Chowk.
The court declared PTI leaders Murad Saeed, Aslam Iqbal, Hamad Azhar, Zubair Niazi, Hamid Raza Gilani, Mohammad Javed, Abdul Samad, and Waseem Qayyum as proclaimed offenders. The ruling was made by ATC Judge Arshad Javed.
Meanwhile, in another case, the ATC in Islamabad extended the interim bail of PTI leaders Umar Ayub and Zartaj Gul until January 8 in a case related to vandalism during a PTI rally. The hearing was conducted by ATC Judge Abulhasanat Zulqarnain, who granted the extension of their interim bails.
