Motorcyclist Killed in Collision, While Water Tanker Injures Two Others

Karachi: A speeding dumper truck has claimed the life of a young man in Karachi, while two others were severely injured in a separate incident involving a water tanker in North Karachi.
According to details, the tragic accident occurred near a private university on the Baloch Colony Expressway, where 29-year-old Muhammad Talha lost his life. Rescue officials reported that the victim’s body was brought to Jinnah Hospital by a rickshaw, where the driver confirmed that Talha was riding a motorcycle at the time of the crash, which was caused by a collision with the dumper. The Baloch Colony Police are currently investigating the incident.
In another incident, a water tanker ran over two motorcyclists in North Karachi near 2-Minute Chowrangi, severely injuring 17-year-old Abdul Haseeb and 35-year-old Hamza. The victims were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment. In the aftermath, an angry mob gathered at the scene, throwing stones and attempting to set the tanker on fire. However, police quickly arrived and managed to control the situation.
Abdul Haseeb’s brother, Irfan, claimed that the tanker driver fled the scene after the accident. The police have since taken the water tanker into their custody for further investigation.
