Justice Mansoor Ali Shah Denies Resigning, Vows to Continue Serving

Islamabad: Senior Supreme Court Judge Justice Mansoor Ali Shah has refuted rumors regarding his resignation, asserting that he has no plans to step down.
Speaking to journalists after addressing a conference on children’s justice, Justice Shah dismissed reports about his alleged resignation. When asked about the rumors, he responded, “I don’t know where this concern is coming from; these are just speculations. I am not going anywhere.”
Justice Shah emphasized his commitment to continuing his work, saying, “I will keep doing what I can. I am here at one conference and will attend another afterward. I will use whatever authority I have to improve the system.”
Earlier, during his speech at the conference, Justice Shah highlighted the importance of children’s rights, stressing that they are not only the future but also the present. “Children are a gift from Allah,” he said, noting the judiciary’s deep commitment to ensuring justice for children.
Justice Shah also urged judges of lower courts to recognize the significance of children’s justice. “Public interest cases bring about significant improvements. I always say that courts should be accessible. Even though I am not on the constitutional bench, we will listen to you.”
