Shatrughan Sinha Reacts to Vikrant Massey’s Break from Acting: ‘Today’s Generation is Smarter
Bollywood veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha recently shared his thoughts on Vikrant Massey’s decision to take a break from acting, calling today’s younger generation “smarter” and more aware of when to step back and prioritize mental health.
In a recent interview with Indian media, Shatrughan reminisced about his own struggles during his early career. He recalled juggling multiple shifts and often running between different studios, sometimes forgetting which film he was shooting for. Despite the pressures, he continued to push through, reflecting on how difficult it was to maintain that pace.
Commenting on Vikrant Massey’s decision, Shatrughan expressed admiration for today’s actors, saying, “Today’s kids are much more aware. They know when to stop and when to start again. They don’t have the insecurity that we had during our time.”
Vikrant Massey recently caused a stir among fans when he shared a post on Instagram stating, “I will meet my fans for the last time in 2025.” The post led to concerns that the actor was retiring from the film industry for good.
However, Vikrant later clarified that his statement had been misunderstood. He reassured his fans that he was not quitting acting, but taking a break to focus on his mental and physical health. “I am not leaving acting. I am taking a break to work on my well-being, as my health was being affected by the overwhelming workload,” he explained.
Vikrant’s decision highlights the growing importance of mental health and self-care in the entertainment industry, with actors now more conscious of their well-being than ever before.
