Increasing Trend of AIDS in Society is Concerning: Murad Ali Shah’s Statement on World AIDS Day
Karachi: On the occasion of World AIDS Day, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah issued a message emphasizing the theme for this year, “Choose the Right Direction: My Health, My Right.”
According to a statement from the Sindh Chief Minister’s spokesperson, Murad Ali Shah expressed concern over the increasing prevalence of AIDS in society, calling it distressing. He stressed that the fight against this disease is a shared responsibility, and a healthy society is essential for everyone.
He further emphasized the importance of launching awareness campaigns to educate the public about HIV/AIDS. Shah also noted that the Sindh government has taken proactive measures to combat the spread of AIDS, including providing treatment, care, and better support services to those affected.
The Chief Minister concluded by urging citizens to value life and take actions to save lives, saying, “Let us value life and save lives.”
