TV Host Shahzaib Khanzada Ventures into Drama Writing Career
Islamabad: Renowned current affairs TV host Shahzaib Khanzada is set to make his debut as a drama writer, with reports indicating that his written drama will be released soon.
Director Wajahat Hussain Syed shared pictures with Shahzaib Khanzada on Instagram, hinting that the drama penned by the TV host will be unveiled shortly. Rather than using a detailed caption, Syed employed hashtags but included the word “Bismillah” in the post, signaling that the drama’s release is imminent.
The hashtags also mentioned “Case Number 9,” along with the production house, producers, and Shahzaib Khanzada’s name, confirming that Khanzada is collaborating with the team both as a writer and likely in a directorial capacity.
There is speculation that Shahzaib Khanzada may also make an appearance in Case Number 9, possibly taking on a role in the drama. According to reports from various entertainment social media pages, Case Number 9 is a crime thriller written by Khanzada, featuring prominent actors Faisal Qureshi and Saba Qamar in leading roles.
While the exact air date for the drama remains unclear, it is expected to be released by mid-2025. This will be Shahzaib Khanzada’s first foray into the world of drama writing. Previously, he has been a familiar face at numerous showbiz events and is well-known as one of Pakistan’s top current affairs TV hosts, having hosted Aaj Shahzaib Khanzada Ke Saath on Geo News for over a decade.
Neither Shahzaib Khanzada nor actors Faisal Qureshi and Saba Qamar have publicly commented on their involvement in the project.
