“Beginning of a Deal” from PTI: Lawyer’s Meeting and PTI’s Measured, Cautious Reaction — Ghareeda Farooqi

LAHORE (Daily Qudrat): Senior journalist Ghareeda Farooqi has said that there is a “beginning of a deal” from PTI — the lawyer’s meeting and PTI’s measured, cautious reaction. After the lawyer’s meeting with Imran Khan yesterday, the family also met his sister today.

Tehreek-e-Insaf has deliberately adopted such an attitude “for a deal.” It has corrected its line length.

It did not cry, wail or raise a hue and cry. It did not heat up the market of fake news. It did not create a commotion over health politics. Measured, cautious manner and statements. Signs of a deal.

But this deal, however, cannot go as far as the return of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government; the state has now drawn a red line on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Now only the state’s policy will run in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Whoever goes along with this policy — yes, there can be a possibility for him. What Ali Amin Gandapur does, what he becomes, will depend on his own character.

Let meetings happen — in jail and in parliament too. If they come forward in the election reforms committee and walk on the straight path, the doors of paradise can open.
