Fear and Panic Being Spread Through Armed Gangs and Proxies; Government Is Directly Responsible for the Instability: Pashtunkhwa NAP
The Brutal Killing of a Father and Son in Tang Masezai and the Attack on Nawabzada Sikandar Jogezai in Qila Saifullah Are Open Lawlessness; Protest Will Continue Until the Killers Are Arrested: Demonstration in Pishin
PISHIN (Daily Qudrat Quetta): On the directions of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) central secretary Nawab Ayaz Khan Jogezai, a protest demonstration was held in Pishin district against the terrorist incident in Tang Masezai, under the chairmanship of district secretary Umar Khan Tareen.
Addressing the protest demonstration were District President Umar Khan Tareen, Central Secretary Abdul Haq Abdal, Tehsil Pishin President Ismat Kamalzai, Tehsil Harmzai President Advocate Manaf Khan Badiezai and Tehsil Corporation General Secretary Shams Jamal.
The speakers said that all districts of Southern Pashtunkhwa and their people are afflicted by terrorism, instability, continuous incidents of theft and robbery and the deteriorating law and order situation. On the invitation of PkMAP Chairman and national leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai, divisional jirgas of Southern Pashtunkhwa and the jirga of the Southern Pashtunkhwa province were held under the chairmanship of the party’s central secretary Nawab Ayaz Khan Jogezai, and now the series of jirgas at the district level is continuing.
These jirgas are continuing in a situation where our people’s lives and property are no longer safe, resources are being occupied, fear and panic are being spread through armed gangs, and proxies are ongoing at the official level — and the imposed Form 47 government is responsible for this entire situation.
They said that the other day in the Tang Masezai area of Qila Abdullah district, an incident occurred in which armed elements entered the village, carried out looting and robbery, martyred a father and son and abducted a young man, and last night in Qila Saifullah district, the murderous attack on the party’s district executive member Nawabzada Sikandar Khan Jogezai and Abdul Rehman Kamaluddinzai is a continuation of the incidents of instability. They said that we must organise these jirgas, and through the jirgas we must protect our people and our homeland.
The speakers, supporting the ongoing protest at Mizai Adda in Qila Abdullah, demanded that the killers of the martyrs be arrested and the abducted young man be recovered immediately, and that armed gangs be eliminated from Southern Pashtunkhwa and the ongoing proxies be ended.
