Police Foil Attempt to Forcefully Marry Two Underage Girls in Kasur

KASUR: Police have foiled an attempt to forcefully marry off two underage girls in Mandi Usman Wala, an area of Kasur district, and arrested the two grooms, the Nikah registrar and a witness.

According to police, the girls, aged 10 and 16, were allegedly being forced into marriage.

Police said a case had been registered against the suspects and the two girls had been shifted to Dar-ul-Aman for their protection.

Further legal proceedings are underway.
