Opponents Turn to Character Assassination and False Allegations After Failing in the Field of Performance: Maulana Abdul Wasay

QUETTA (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Balochistan Provincial Amir Senator Maulana Abdul Wasay has said that the greatness, love, and trust of JUI in people’s hearts cannot be erased through negative propaganda, false allegations, and baseless fabricated narratives. All attempts to distort JUI’s peaceful constitutional, democratic, and political struggle through lies and slander will fail, because JUI’s politics is not merely for attaining power but for the supremacy of Islam, the supremacy of the Constitution, the protection of democratic values, the safeguarding of public rights, and the establishment of true democracy in the country. He said that JUI is an ideological, religious, and public party whose roots are deep among the people; this party has at every stage steadfastly confronted unfavorable conditions, political retaliatory actions, and various challenges, and has never compromised on its principled stance. JUI’s leadership and workers have always carried out political struggle within the ambit of the Constitution and law and have fulfilled the duty of conveying the people’s voice to the assemblies through democratic means. Senator Maulana Abdul Wasay said that when opponents fail to compete in the political arena on the basis of argument, performance, and public trust, they resort to negative propaganda, character assassination, and baseless allegations, but such negative campaigns can neither change facts nor alienate the people from their true leadership. He said that JUI’s history is one of sacrifices, steadfastness, religious services, and principled politics; the party has always taken a clear stance on national and political issues and raised its voice for the protection of people’s basic rights, economic well-being, constitutional freedoms, and the democratic system. He further said that JUI considers difference of opinion a beauty of democracy; however, under the guise of political difference, lies, slander, and misleading propaganda cannot be regarded as a positive political attitude in any way. Political opponents should advance their politics through argument, serious dialogue, and public service instead of leveling allegations and negative campaigns. He said that JUI workers, instead of being overawed by such negative tactics, will continue their peaceful, constitutional, and democratic struggle in a more effective manner. The people are conscious and they well understand the difference between political slogans, baseless allegations, and real character. JUI Balochistan Provincial Secretary General and former MNA Agha Mahmood Shah said that JUI will remain steadfast on its ideological identity, principled politics, and mission of public service, and will continue to bring facts to the fore through its character, actions, and public engagement in the face of false propaganda.
