Winter Power and Gas Load-Shedding Worsens Public Hardships, JI Balochistan Demands Federal Exemption

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat):** Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, MPA and Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan, said that electricity and gas load-shedding during the cold season has further increased public difficulties. He urged the federal government to grant Balochistan exemption from load-shedding and restore trade to ensure peace and employment for the people.
Speaking during meetings with delegations in Panjgur, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman highlighted that the closure of highways and borders is tantamount to hostility against the people of Balochistan. He also met with Deputy Commissioner Panjgur Abdul Kabeer Zarghoon along with local party officials, including representatives of Haq Doo Tehreek Balochistan, to discuss law and order, border issues, expansion of crossing points, restoration of closed tokens, and other public concerns. The DC assured that action would be taken promptly.
Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami will intensify the Haq Doo Balochistan campaign, calling on the provincial government to utilize Balochistan’s resources for public welfare and development. He stressed the need for honest and proactive officials to implement development projects on time, noting that addressing public issues effectively could alleviate the hardships faced by Balochistan’s people.
