Important News for Gold Buyers: 10-Gram Price Also Sees a Decrease

ISLAMABAD (Qudrat Daily) — Gold prices have recorded a decline in Pakistan’s local bullion market, while silver rates remained unchanged. According to a report issued on October 20, 2026, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs3,600 to reach Rs435,436. Gold prices also saw a decline in the international market.

Gold Rates Fall in Global Market

In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce dropped by $36 to $4,128. Following the decline in global market prices, gold rates also decreased in Pakistan’s local bullion market.

Changes in international gold prices also affect local rates; however, the value of the rupee and other economic factors can also cause fluctuations in gold prices.

New Prices of Gold per Tola and 10 Grams

Following the decline in the local bullion market, the fresh gold rates are:

– One tola of gold: Rs435,436
– 10 grams of gold: Rs373,316
– Decrease per tola: Rs3,600
– Decrease in 10 grams of gold: Rs3,086

This decrease in gold prices may provide some relief to consumers buying jewelry. However, the final price at jewelry shops may also include making charges and other costs.

Silver Prices Remain Unchanged

Unlike gold, no change was recorded in silver prices, either globally or locally. In the international market, silver per ounce remained stable at $57.56.
