PTI Is Politically Buried, It Should Not Dream of Returning to Power: Amir Muqam

SWAT – Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam has said that PTI is politically buried and should not dream of returning to power. He said the incompetent group will now be held accountable, the people have rejected the 13-year dark era, and that the imposition of emergency and governor rule is aimed at establishing peace in the province, because peace is also essential for the effective use of mineral resources and development.
Addressing a PML-N thanksgiving rally at Nishat Chowk in Mingora, Amir Muqam said he thanks Allah Almighty first and then the people. He said the status of the so-called representatives of Pashtuns has become known and the people have rejected this group through a referendum, and this group will now be held accountable.
He said the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are celebrating the departure of these incompetent people, people distributed sweets, and today by demonstrating patriotism they have endorsed the federal government’s measures. He said thousands of people participated in the Mingora rally and set a record, while the people completely rejected the 13-year dark era. Amir Muqam said those who threatened protests over the imposition of governor rule have been rejected by the people, and despite their threats the people here endorsed the federal government’s decision.
He said Pashtuns and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are no one’s property, Pashtuns are not afraid of bullets, and today he wants to show those sitting outside the country who the real leader of Pashtuns is. He alleged that the former provincial government plundered and turned the province into ruins and left the province orphaned for three months, while bodies were lifted daily in the province and no effective measures were taken to establish peace.
He said they did not want this step to be taken and their desire was that the public mandate be respected, however despite negotiations on the terrorism issue, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister was not ready to come on the same page. According to Amir Muqam, the imposition of emergency and governor rule is aimed at establishing peace in the province, because peace is also essential for the effective use of mineral resources and development.
Opposing the politicization of the Pakistan Armed Forces, he said the army proved in the battle for truth that it is the country’s true protector, and demoralizing the army is not right, and its services during floods and earthquakes and its sacrifices for peace are not hidden from anyone. He claimed that PTI is politically buried and should not dream of returning to power.
Amir Muqam said resolving the province’s problems is a test for them and, God willing, with the people’s support they will succeed in this test and end the people’s deprivations. Engineer Amir Muqam appealed to Field Marshal General Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to embrace Pashtuns from the heart, while requesting Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to remove the checkposts established for the delivery of flour.
He demanded the elimination of taxes in FATA and PATA, saying that under current conditions taxes should not be imposed and his efforts in this regard are ongoing. He also reiterated the commitment that now, along with prosperity and development in the province, the incompetent and corrupt group will also be held accountable. On this occasion, Malakand Division President Wajid Ali Khan, General Secretary Muhammad Ali Shah, MPAs Rashad Khan, Qawi Khan, Qaimos Khan, Malik Jahangir Khan, Irshad Ali and other party leaders also addressed the gathering.
