Gandapur and Several Other Hidden Figures Are Saying “We Will Follow You Completely”: Muneeb Farooq’s Claim

ISLAMABAD – Renowned analyst and anchorperson Muneeb Farooq has made new claims regarding the political situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, governor rule, and the alleged attitude of PTI members of the assembly. In a vlog, he said that after the ongoing crisis in the province and the imposition of emergency, matters have only just begun and facts are starting to unfold layer by layer. He said there is no pressure whatsoever on the current system, the governor, and the institutions running this whole affair to immediately wind it up and restore the PTI government.

Muneeb Farooq also said that even if the PTI government returns to the province, it would be their great fortune, but it must be seen in what form and under what conditions it returns. At present, PTI MPAs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have nothing to do with what the founding chairman Imran Khan’s actual narrative is or what the party’s hardline policy says.

He said the members’ biggest priority at this time is to save themselves and remain safe from the clutches of the law so that no new cases or actions can be taken against them. After this entire political tug-of-war, all these members are now sitting ready to show complete obedience and subservience to the government and state system. This includes Ali Amin Gandapur and several other important and hidden figures who may appear to be upset.

In reality, they are assuring the relevant circles that they are ready to work in the best manner. They have allegedly offered to fix matters and restore the government, even if an emergency or a specific system of powers in the province is maintained for the next six months or beyond. The members are also ready to give guarantees that after the assembly’s restoration, they will fully comply with the orders.
