Toshakhana-II Case: Court Gives Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi Final Chance to Prove Innocence

Islamabad: In the **Toshakhana-II case**, the court has given **PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi** a **final opportunity to prove their innocence** under **Section 342 of the Criminal Procedure Code**.

The hearing was conducted by **Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand** inside **Adiala Jail**, where both accused were presented before the court. The **final prosecution witness**, Mohsin Haroon, was cross-examined by **defense lawyer Qausain Faisal Mufti**, concluding the prosecution’s evidence.

The court has now provided both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi with **questionnaires containing 29 questions each** under Section 342, directing them to **submit their written responses by October 8**. The judge also allowed the defense team time to **consult with the accused** and present witnesses if they choose to do so.

Present during the hearing were **Senators Ali Zafar and Mishal Yousafzai**, **Barrister Salman Akram Raja**, **KP government adviser Barrister Saif**, and **Imran Khan’s three sisters**.

On the prosecution side, **Federal Prosecutor Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi**, **Bilal Butt**, and **Special Prosecutors Barrister Umair Majeed** and **Shehroz Gilani** attended the proceedings.

The court adjourned further hearing of the case until **October 8**.
