Tortured Bodies Recovered from Various Areas of Kalat; Bodies of 4 Individuals Found in Chhappar and Malangzai; Victims Were Tortured and Then Shot Dead

Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta): Police have recovered the bodies of 4 individuals who were tortured and then shot dead from two different areas of Kalat district in Balochistan.

According to police sources, three bullet-riddled bodies were recovered from the roadside in the Chhappar area of Kalat. On the special directives of SSP Kalat Syed Zahid Hussain Shah, SHO Sadar Police Station Munir Ahmed Mengal and Abdul Karim Mengal, along with a police team, reached the site and shifted the bodies to DHQ Hospital Kalat. According to the hospital and police, all three deceased belonged to Dasht Gowran, Kalat, and were identified as Saeed Ahmed son of Nooruddin, caste Samalani; Jameel Ahmed son of Abdul Aziz, caste Chanal; and Abdul Rasool son of Abdul Rashid, caste Zahri. After necessary legal proceedings, all bodies have been handed over to the heirs.

Meanwhile, the body of an unidentified person was also recovered from Malangzai near another area of Kalat, Khalique Abad. According to police, the deceased was identified through the name “Bakht Muhammad” written on a 2019 vaccination card recovered from his pocket, and the body was shifted to RHC Khalique Abad.

Police say that all four individuals were first subjected to severe torture and then shot dead. Kalat Police, considering the gravity of the incident, have registered a case and initiated further investigation.
