Sindh Citizens Join Calls for Creation of New Administrative Units Across Pakistan

KARACHI: Like people in other parts of the country, citizens in Sindh have voiced strong support for the creation of new administrative units, saying the move is necessary to ensure sustainable development, regional balance and better governance.

Citizens supporting the establishment of new administrative units said new provinces or administrative units should be created in Sindh, which would help resolve public issues more efficiently and improve service delivery.

They said several areas of interior Sindh still lack basic facilities such as electricity, water, gas, roads and hospitals. According to one citizen, the provincial government has failed to undertake adequate development work, with insufficient roads, hospitals and schools being established for the public.

The citizen said that the creation of new administrative units could also help reduce inflation and improve access to essential services. They added that better administrative structures would lead to improvements in education, healthcare and infrastructure.

Supporters of the proposal said a new administrative framework could ensure a more equitable distribution of resources, strengthen governance and improve the delivery of public services to citizens.
