Terrorist Attack Strongly Condemned, Killers of Mir Abdul Rehman Langoo Will Be Brought to Justice: Ziaullah Langau
QUETTA: Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau has strongly condemned the killing of Mir Abdul Rehman Langoo, president of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) Nushki chapter and chairman of Union Council Baghak, who was shot dead by armed assailants.
In a statement, the provincial home minister said terrorists hated everyone who played a practical role in serving the Baloch people, promoting their welfare and resolving their problems.
He said the attackers, who claim to represent Baloch traditions, violated the sanctity of the home and entered the house to target Mir Abdul Rehman Langoo. He termed the act contrary to Baloch traditions, saying such practices belonged to the traditions of India and Afghanistan.
Ziaullah Langau said the deceased was an honest, sincere social worker and a public-friendly personality who remained among the people day and night and made every possible effort to resolve the problems of poor and deserving citizens.
He said Mir Abdul Rehman Langoo considered public service his duty as chairman of the union council and played an active role in addressing the issues faced by residents of the area.
The minister added that during the tenure of the Balochistan Awami Party government, the deceased had also played an important role in creating employment opportunities for unemployed Baloch youth in Nushki and helping them secure government jobs, benefiting hundreds of families in the area.
He said terrorist elements wanted to target all those who stood with the Baloch people. He strongly condemned the killing of Mir Abdul Rehman Langoo inside his home in front of women and children.
Ziaullah Langau said such elements had no connection whatsoever with Baloch traditions and claimed that their actions reflected the traditions of India and Afghanistan.
He expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the family and relatives of the deceased, saying Mir Abdul Rehman Langoo’s services to the people would always be remembered.
The provincial home minister vowed that the killers of Mir Abdul Rehman Langoo would be brought to justice and dealt with according to law.
