Balochistan’s Development, Peace, Stability and Public Welfare Are Top Priorities: Sarfraz Bugti

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the development, peace, stability and welfare of the people of the province are the government’s top priorities.

A delegation of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders, led by the party’s senior leader and focal person to the chief minister, Syed Iqbal Shah, met Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Tuesday.

PPP Balochistan General Secretary Rabbani Kakar, Provincial Ministers Mir Sadiq Umrani, Bakht Muhammad Kakar and Haji Ali Madad Jattak were also present during the meeting.

The participants discussed matters of mutual interest, the overall situation in the province, as well as political and tribal affairs.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said the government was taking effective measures to move forward by taking all segments of society along.

He reiterated that the provincial government was committed to promoting development, maintaining peace and stability, and improving the welfare of the people of Balochistan.
