Imran Khan Wants to See a Better Pakistan, Politics Is Part of His Personality: Qasim Khan

ISLAMABAD: Qasim Khan, son of PTI founder Imran Khan, has said that politics is an integral part of his father’s personality and that he has always been passionate about eliminating corruption, lifting people out of poverty and helping Pakistan overcome its challenges.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Qasim said that for as long as he could remember, he had seen his father involved in politics, recalling that Imran Khan entered politics at a relatively young age.

He said he had always viewed his father as someone deeply committed to making Pakistan free of corruption, improving the lives of ordinary people and helping the country emerge from the difficulties it was facing.

Qasim said his father’s desire, determination, struggle and the greatness of his purpose were among the qualities he admired most about him.

According to Qasim, Imran Khan is deeply emotional about Pakistan and genuinely wants to see the country become better.

He acknowledged that part of him wished his father could always have been around, played cricket with him and spent more time with the family. However, he said that whenever he visited Pakistan, he had the opportunity to spend considerable time with his father.

Qasim said it would also have been unfair to the people of Pakistan to deprive them of the opportunity to benefit from what Imran Khan had been trying to do for them.
