Pishin Attackers Who Targeted Unarmed Workers Do Not Deserve to Be Called Human: Sanaullah Zehri

QUETTA: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) central leader and former Balochistan chief minister, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, has strongly condemned the attack on innocent workers in Pishin district, saying those who target unarmed laborers do not deserve to be called human.
In a statement, Zehri said workers undertake difficult jobs such as the construction and expansion of roads under harsh weather conditions simply to earn a living and support their families. Targeting such hardworking people in a terrorist attack was an extremely tragic and inhumane act, he said.
The former chief minister said the terrorists had not merely taken the lives of five workers but had destroyed five families. He called for the strictest possible action against those responsible for the attack.
Zehri said terrorists were committing such inhumane acts to please their alleged foreign patrons, but the people of Balochistan would not bow before terrorism and instability.
He urged the state institutions to take effective and decisive action against terrorists and their facilitators who were obstructing Balochistan’s development and prosperity.
Zehri stressed that the complete elimination of terrorist elements was essential to ensure that the people of Balochistan could live their lives in peace and security.
