Attack on Workers in Saranan Condemned, Terrorists Deserve No Leniency: Hayat Khan Achakzai

QUETTA: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Hayat Khan Achakzai has strongly condemned the firing on workers in Saranan Bazaar, saying the killing of innocent labourers was completely unacceptable.

Expressing condolences to the families of the victims, Achakzai said he shared the grief of the bereaved families. He described targeting innocent people who had left their homes in search of livelihood as the height of cowardice.

He demanded the immediate arrest of those involved in the brutal incident and called for strict punishment under the law. He said the terrorists who attacked workers in Saranan were enemies of humanity and peace.

Achakzai said such cowardly acts could not undermine the morale of the people or leadership of Balochistan. He added that the entire province and nation stood united with the security forces in the fight against terrorism and that miscreants would never succeed in achieving their nefarious objectives.

The PPP leader urged the government to provide financial assistance to the families of the victims and ensure the best possible medical treatment for those injured in the attack.

He said targeting unarmed and innocent workers was a clear demonstration of the terrorists’ desperation. “Such brutal elements deserve neither leniency nor mercy,” he said.

Achakzai called for those responsible for destroying peace and security in Balochistan to be brought to justice without delay. He said the blood of the victims would not be forgotten and expressed confidence that security forces would eliminate the terrorist threat.
