Balochistan Government Releases Rs11.1 Million Compensation for Each Martyred Ziarat Police Officer

QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has issued release orders for compensation payments of Rs11.1 million to the families of each police officer martyred in the recent attack in Ziarat, following the directives of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
Adviser to the Chief Minister on Information and Political Affairs Shahid Rind said all administrative and financial formalities were completed on a priority basis under the chief minister’s special instructions to ensure the prompt disbursement of compensation.
He stated that the compensation would be delivered directly to the families of the martyrs at their homes to provide immediate financial relief during this difficult time.
Shahid Rind further announced that the Government of Balochistan would also take responsibility for supporting the families of the fallen officers, ensuring their welfare, and covering all educational expenses of the martyrs’ children.
He emphasized that no amount of financial compensation can replace the loss of a human life. However, he said, the provincial government stands firmly with the bereaved families and will continue to extend every possible support to them in the future.
