42 Security Personnel Martyred, 54 Militants Killed in Three Days of Operations in Balochistan: ISPR

Rawalpindi: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has said that 42 security personnel were martyred during terrorist attacks and counterterrorism operations in Balochistan over the past three days, while 54 militants were killed in retaliatory operations by security forces.
According to the military’s media wing, security forces carried out a series of coordinated operations against militants in different parts of the province, resulting in the deaths of 54 militants. A large cache of weapons and ammunition was also recovered during the operations.
The ISPR said clearance and search operations are continuing, with security forces pursuing the remaining militants to eliminate their presence in the affected areas.
Paying tribute to the fallen personnel, the ISPR said the sacrifices made by the country’s security forces in defending Pakistan and protecting its citizens are invaluable and will never be forgotten.
The military reaffirmed its commitment to continuing counterterrorism operations until militancy is completely eradicated and all anti-state elements are brought to justice.
