Pakistani Defense Minister Rejects Afghan Foreign Minister’s Allegations

Islamabad:Pakistan’s Defense Minister, Khawaja Asif, has strongly rejected the allegations made by Afghanistan’s Acting Foreign Minister, dismissing them as an attempt to shift blame onto Pakistan.
In his statement, Khawaja Asif emphasized that the United Nations monitoring team’s report clearly indicates the presence of over two dozen terrorist groups, including Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Al-Qaeda, and ISIS, operating in Afghanistan. He also pointed out that Afghanistan has become a center for ISIS recruitment and facilitation in 2024.
The Defense Minister urged the interim Afghan authorities to take serious measures to dismantle terrorist infrastructure and prevent the use of Afghan soil against other countries.
