13 Arrested After Stone-Pelting on Green Bus in Rawalpindi, Passenger Injured
Rawalpindi: A group of unruly youths attacked a Green Bus in Rawalpindi, injuring a passenger and damaging the vehicle.
The incident occurred near Chaklala Railway Station, where the attackers pelted stones at the bus, shattering its windows and causing panic among passengers.
According to police, a case has been registered at Chaklala Police Station on the complaint of the bus captain. Authorities have arrested 13 suspects involved in the attack.
The First Information Report (FIR) states that the youths were engaged in one-wheeling on motorcycles when they launched the assault on the Green Bus. They reportedly threw stones and struck the vehicle with sticks, resulting in broken windows and injuries to at least one passenger.
Police also recovered sticks and seized seven motorcycles used by the suspects during the incident. Further investigation is underway.
