Balochistan Government Nominates Civil Hospital Employee Abdul Razzaq Tareen for Civil Award

Quetta (Qudrat Daily) – The Government of Balochistan has nominated Civil Hospital Quetta employee Abdul Razzaq Tareen for a civil award in recognition of his bravery, dedication, and sense of duty during a recent acid attack incident, according to Balochistan Chief Minister’s spokesperson Shahid Rind.
Rind stated that during the acid attack, Abdul Razzaq Tareen immediately came to the aid of the affected female doctor. While assisting her, he himself suffered burn injuries but displayed exceptional courage and selflessness in the line of duty.

He further said that Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti had earlier spoken with the injured employee by telephone while he was undergoing treatment. During the conversation, the chief minister inquired about his health, praised his bravery, and announced that he would be recommended for a civil award as a gesture of recognition and encouragement.

According to Shahid Rind, the Chief Minister’s Secretariat has formally sent a letter to the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) regarding Abdul Razzaq Tareen’s nomination for the civil award.
The nomination has been made in acknowledgment of his courageous actions and commitment to protecting and assisting others despite putting his own safety at risk.
